A Flash From the Past
I have people come up and ask me how I got into photography and why… and honestly, it has been what I have been surrounded by most of my life. My dad was a wedding videographer and photographer for most of my childhood. I remember him editing in the basement of our small condo in Franklin, Massachusetts. The song “Hey Soul Sister” by: Train will forever be engrained in my head now. I grew up around cameras, learning about them and falling in love with them in the process. I even had a short film made by my family called “Rubber Chicken Ninja Assassins”. Now that is family goals! I learned a lot from my father and he continues to be one of my mentors as I grow more and more every single day. But how did I get here?

Well, when a little thing called COVID-19 happened I had a lot of time on my hands (and I mean a lot). While everyone else did puzzles, learned how to make bread, and did about every single TikTok dance ever, I sat down with my camera and I learned everything I could about it. I thought that in a pandemic ‘how could anyone want to get their photos taken?!’ Well apparent a lot of people! So I started my business. Got my first website up and running and practiced and here I am about 4 years later. Shooting weddings like my dad, having months completely booked up, getting the chance to work with other photographers, and most importantly making my dream a reality. Even though it has been super hard it has been super worth it!!
